Introduction

What is NotePad XP?
         As many people know that Microsoft Windows offer us a free editor called "NotePad" during the installation, unfortunately, many people noticed that it is poor performed than we expected, for example, it has its size limit of the document, poor looking style, lack of shortcut keys, lack of functionality and customizations and many others. Therefore, the NotePad XP was born.
          As described above, NotePad XP is a replacement of the Windows' NotePad. The main duty of this program is to solve the problems that is described above.

     Here is the list that describe some of the main features that are in the NotePad XP:

• All the features that are in the Windows' NotePad;
• Standard shortcut keys for all of the functions that is available;
• 4 styles schemes for you to choose from (Office XP, Office 2000, Office in MacOS and Windows XP style);
• No size limit of the document;
• Display many information in the status bar (Help, Line and Column number, Time, File Path, etc.);
• Align text to left, center and right;
• Add bullet points within the text;
• Mail merge (Require Outlook or other e-mail program);
• Ability to save and open rich text files;
• User friendly interface;
• Ability to customize many aspect of the program;
• Word Count;
• And many more.

        As probably many people may think this program is also a replacement of word processing software, if you do think this, then you are wrong. The reason why it can't replaces them because it can't handle complextiy of the document, for example, tables, images. In addition, it cannot open or save your text into *.doc format, and it loads much more faster than the word processing software.
